well...depends on where you are....Chicago though...right on the water yes? It's not THAT much worse in town...I don't know. Haven't been to Chicago for eons...

Chicago period, tho more so away from the water, has one of the longest ranges in temperature in the world. So its really cold in the winter, and hotter than hell in the summer XD both are for about 5 mths long too. Not fun.

oh no! im sorry...that would suck...i can't handle the extremes... Alaska...well in the north it gets VERY cold. like -50F cold and below...but anchorage is pretty mild. the coldest is maybe -20F. Summer is around 65-75F esque. :)

yea, I heard that anchorage was about the same as Chicago, winter wise. One of my teachers used to work in an aquarium there, and she said its actually colder here than up in alaska XD we were having blizzards at the time.

oh...blizzards = pain. I sorry. :)

Well, Alaska weather is the unexpected lunacy...nothing is ever "normal." Occasionally, we will have a really warm day in the middle of January and everyone puts on their shorts and runs around untill they realize it is really only 40 degrees, but in January that's like a record high, so you know...everyone here is barking mad anyway. I don't know why anyone would want to live here....in this crazy place, but perhaps the fact that I take everything for granted is something to do with it...I cannot wait until I am old enough to leave...FOREVER. :)

XDD; wow, well up in the middle of nowhere, I guess you'd feel that way.

Yea, the weathers crazy here too. This year it was very warm thru out december, and it wasn't until Jan 1st, exactly, it got cold and snowed. Stayed that way until April, when it was warm for a week and the snow melted, only to have it plummet again and have the 3ft snow back again until middle of may.

You want "normal" weather, go move to colorado XD all summers are warm and mild, all winters are cold and snowy.
